In the middle of the desert a mysterious forest grows, once home to a now forgotten civilization. It still contains treasures beyond imagination. If one fails to gain control of these treasures before another treasure hunter, he is forced to explore the searing and inhospitable desert.

In the middle of the desert a mysterious forest grows, once home to a now forgotten civilization. It still contains treasures beyond imagination. If one fails to gain control of these treasures before another treasure hunter, he is forced to explore the searing and inhospitable desert. _Resources:_ Players start with two small piles of gold and stone, surrounded by plenty of wood. Three boar are close, as are nine Turkeys and an expected amount of berries. The center of the map contains decently defensible resources. The only alternative can be found in the open desert. _Design Rationale:_ Even though this map starts out very defensible, aggressive players are rewarded by gaining control over the neutral resources early hopefully encouraging games with both interesting early and late game plays. Note: The boar lures in this map sometimes require either loom or using a turkey to slow it down.
